"Negotiations were in place and their progress was based on the Pals rounding up the terrorist leaders and the Israelis dismantling the settlements."

No, the deal was that terrorist bombing stops and terrorist IDF actions stop.
Sharon added that Hamas disarm and leaders be rounded up. He knew that would be impossible. Then, in name of "self defense" he continued attacking and the responses continued.

You're missing the forest for the trees. Hamas suicide bombings are simply not a big deal. It's a detail that would be nice to remove, but not a central issue.

The Israeli occupation on the Palestinian lands by force has been big and long. Even the right-wing Israelis don't bother to argue against the undeniable fact. Yet, someone still strongly denies it.

I’m educated quite a bit by the phenomenon.

>>Occupation?

No..not at all..and that was what the peace process with dual states is/was supposed to accomplish.<<

Israel should use the same restraint
that the United States used against the American Indians.
