Well, he didn't smile or wave, and he looked pretty pissed off. If he'd have been younger he probably would have shot me the "You're Number One" finger-salute. Shoot, he got an E-ticket ride for free, he shoulda tossed me ten bucks. I bet his heart was going thumpa-thumpa-thumpa-thumpa-thumpa. My case-mate Paul, who first warned me about the blind spot on these trucks, told me he has had a couple of close calls himself. One time it was a car with two teenage girls, and even though it was a cold day and everyone had their windows rolled up, he could distinctly hear aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as they sailed past just inches from his bumper. It's not a job, it's an adventure.
