Why doesn't the 9/11 commission ask which warning scared Ashcroft away from commercial planes 2 months before 9/11?

Apparently the threat was serious enough for Ashcroft to hide, but not serious enough to have a meeting.

I'd like to know the answer to that as well. I'd like to also know who purchased reinsurance and airline puts immediately prior to 9-11.
