<<I think we'd have a bull market if not for this mess with jobs/globalization. US businesses are in peak form. Even US cars are better than foreign models these days. Its all jobs. BTW speaking of cars my next car is going to be hybrid. >>

I wish I could see things thru yours and Sigs eyes ...yall seem to have nicer view then me <g>......As for U.S. cars being better then foreign cars, I can't help but laugh. I am a "car nut"...one of my hobbies...and yes, I do have 2 american made cars and 2 foreign cars....But no way does ford make better quality then toyota for instance...and whats funny is whether the car is american, japanese, german or whatever, it is still more then likely being made on U.S. soil and in U.S. Manufaturing Plants. My wife is an engineer for a major tire manufacturer. She visits alot of manufaturing plants....and she is always commenting on how much better the foreign car plants are then the american car plants. She claims the efficiency of the plants are better, as is the quality of the production..what is being built.....But this is a touchy subject as many people swear by american made vehicles and hate the foreign models, while others see more quality in the foreign models and hate american vehicles.....I guess it is too each his own....

JOBS maybe we should look at the mba programs and colleges.

" over half of all the graduate students in engineering are not Americans, and more and more of them are going home."

per deborah wince-smith president council on competitiveness.
