Gasoline futures near one-week high
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Gasoline futures climbed to trade near a one-week high, after two key U.S. reports confirmed a hefty climb in crude stocks, but said gasoline inventories fell for a fourth-straight week. The general feeling on the trading floor is that the crude stock build was higher than expected, but "it makes little difference in the overall long-term problems like terrorism, disruptions, refineries, OPEC," said Kevin Kerr, editor of Kwest Market Edge. April unleaded gasoline is up 0.72 cent at $1.154 per gallon after an intraday high of $1.162. May crude is down 11 cents at $37.34 per barrel.
