TO BUSINESS EDITOR:

American Commerce Solutions, Inc. Updates Acquisition Progress

BARTOW, Fla., March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Commerce
Solutions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AACS) today released a progress report on
its previously announced and planned acquisitions.
Daniel L. Hefner, President and Chief Executive Officer, made the
following prepared statement: "American Commerce Solutions, Inc. remains
dedicated to its basic business plan, which calls for growth through
acquisition of strategic business opportunities. Although discussions and
negotiations continue with multiple companies, the most anticipated
opportunities, of which the stockholders are aware, remain to be within the
fiberglass industry. Although we had hoped to close on the AFG opportunity by
fiscal year end, we experienced difficulties and timing issues that have moved
us out slightly. All parties remain committed to the completion of the
transaction and final documents are now in preparation. The second opportunity
is the fiberglass recycling company, which remains unnamed. Progress is being
made daily with all requisite functions, i.e., accounting, legal and
structural, nearing completion. Our projected timeframe is this summer."
Departing from his prepared notes, Hefner noted that his recent trips to
the west coast were centered on negotiations related to acquisitions. There he
met with stockholders and funding sources for current and future acquisition
opportunities.
"Because of substantial investor inquiry via e-mail and telephone about
the status of the company's acquisition plans, I have opted to make a release
of general information," Hefner stated. "Our investors recognize the need to
broaden the revenue base and spread the overhead burden. Many are continuing
to accumulate our undervalued stock in anticipation of substantial gain as the
company implements it's business plan. We believe that they will be rewarded
for confidence in sound business practices."
