I wonder when someone will make a case against the Supremes for allowing the court crier to say what I have heard a million times whenever a Court starts its session:

"Oyez, oyez, oyez, the _____Court of the ____ is now in session, the Honorable R. Pettifog Calhoun Pettifoggery presiding, God save the United States and this Honorable Court."

Our currency says "In God we Trust". I wonder if this person uses some other currency.

Personally, I'm a religious agnostic. With this issue, I believe valuable judicial efforts are being wasted.
