You're still missing the link to the U.S.'s current support for those groups in the current situation. This is 2004. If you're extrapolating and inferring from the historical links you provided, fine. That will mean that you consider the information accurate and that your current opinion is based on the assumption that the same support and relationships continued after 1998 right into 2004. If I'm incorrect about the fact that all you have done is basically post your opinion, by all means supply some timely evidence to back up your claims.
