I doubt there is anybody left here who really believes that Kerry never lies. But if there is, they should review the George Will (gasp -- a conservative) column of Newsweek (oh, that's okay, it's a liberal mag) which quotes Kerry (and who should know better than he himself?) that the reason voters were unimpressed with his protectinism position in 1992 was that "they knew I was lying."

From his own mouth.

Again we see a Kerry voter who is grossly uninformed. Here is the GAO report:

"Damage, theft, vandalism, and pranks did occur in the White House complex during the 2001 presidential transition.

...numerous prank signs, printed materials, stickers, and written messages that were left behind, some of which conained derogatory and offensive statements about the president;

...government property that was damaged, including computer keyboards with missing or damaged “W” keys and broken furniture; and (4) items that were missing, such as office signs, a presidential seal, cellular telephones, doorknobs, and telephone number labels.

...Some former Clinton administration staff acknowledged that they had observed a few keyboards with missing “W” keys and some prank signs at the end of the administration.

...Incidents such as the removal of keys from computer boards; the theft of various items; the leaving of certain voice mail messages, signs, and written messages; and the placing of glue on desk drawers, clearly were done intentionally. "

And here is another clue, a liberal rag like salon is not the best place to get your news.
