If Hamas was well armed and Israel was not, I believe Hamas would behave exactly as Israel is doing today -- invading and occupying Israeli land, killing Israelis who resist, and forcing Jewish people to live under subhuman conditions while trying to decide the most effective way to get rid of Israel as a Jewish state, without going so far as to become completely outcast in the world community -- certainly they would not want to be more of an outcast than Israel is today.
