Pretty cool how SMART predicted the demise of your hard drive while you could still backup your data.

Hard drives are cheap and easy to replace, and yours sounds like toast. For desktop computers CompUSA, Circuit City, and Best Buy run regular deals on nice big drives. 120gb is often only $60 after rebate.

Physically installing the hard drive is very easy. Getting the settings right and reinstalling OS and programs can be time consuming. If you want to tackle it, post your specific questions and someone here will probably know the answer.
