Hi PatiBob, I have turned off the McAfee automatic update. I have some processes that download extremely large files of (stock) data, and the automatic processes have a very nasty habit of starting themselves up while I'm in the middle of one of those stock updates. This slows me down greatly, and rather than tolerate it, I just turned off the automatic processes and check McAfee manually several times a day, when their update is at my convenience, and prior to reading any e-mails.
