Do you know if he has not created that many jobs? If it had not been for his economic stimulus package, could the numbers be negative? (s)

Jobs are always the last thing to come along, but you know that. Clearly it is on a downward trend.

The current rate is 5.6%. During the first three years of Clinton, the Avg unemployment rate was 6.2%.

At this point in Clinton’s term, the unemployment rate was 5.6%.

The highest unemployment rate under clinton was 7.3%. Under GWB the highest has been 6.3%.
