in March 2003, I said repeatedly, three Iraq war reasons:

1. secure airbases, as Saudis booted us out of Prince Sultan

2. secure oilfields, as future production heads to west

3. reverse the sale of Arab oil in euro denomination

however, with January OPEC statements, it is now clear that OPEC pricing interval has adjusted for a fall in the dollar and a rise in the euro
I call OPEC crude oil pricing as "defacto euro denominated"

these guys are slow to realize what was obvious from the start
at least to some jackass who gets no respeck

this resaon has been around since before the war. it is the reeason that the neocons themselves espoused and IMO it is the real reason
