No surprise. I knew it the moment I heard of Clarke's book. This is what the GOP is up against. The leftists are really considerable liars. After all, they produced and supported Bill Clinton. The GOP had better not assume impartiality here. And it had better not think it can turn the media to its point-of-view. It needs to focus on the American people - and relentlessly, speech after speech, essay after essay, talking head after talking head, from now onward. And it needs to exploit conservative outlets for all they are worth, all the while insulating Bush, letting everyone else do the dirty work. Leftists go for the throat. The GOP needs to go for their heads, with one well-placed shot (metaphorically speaking, of course).
