Well it would be a nice close if someone went short precisely 45 minutes ago at the test of the days high.

Re IB - terrific firm, I have used them for years for trading futures; but for stocks/etfs I only trade them things in retirement accounts and IB does not yet support Canadian "RRSP" registered retirement accounts. Supposedly coming this summer at which time me and 10,000 other held-hostage Canadians will probably be moving our accounts en mass.

Here's why I am not that concerned - in the big picture, its had a big move up and has barely even begun a reasonable, typical, retracement.

Certainly nothing to risk getting short on... not after 9 weeks of decline. That time has likely passed for all but the extremely nimble or intraday folks only.

edit... no doubt after a little retracement we'll start hearing people talking about a 'possible inverse H&S' forming intraday.

Anyway... what will be will be.
