I saw "The Passion of the Christ" this evening. It is very intense and that is putting it lightly. On the way home I thought about when I saw "The Exorcist" at the theater in 1973. That was also intense and the audience at the time was quite stunned, but since that time countless parodies have been made of scenes in the movie. My point is that I wonder if a time will come when the same is done to Mel Gibson's movie. My guess is that it will.
