We dont need any pessimist in the White House who has premonitions, such as that we would lose the war in Iraq and retreat. If that has been the case we would have had that missing plan in place that so many are asking for-how to retreat gracefully after winning a conflict. Nobody had a retreat plan after WW2 so there was confusion for many years and troops had a terrible time converting to civilian life. Its time to establish an 'Department of Retreat' which would give the anti-war crowd something to do. Did we have a plan to get all those soldiers off the beaches of Normandy in case the invasion failed? Of course not. Did we have a plan to get our soldiers out of Iraq in case Saddam had nukes?. Nope. Did Hirohito have a plan to surrender after we dropped the first A-bomb? Of course not. Again, defective planning cost lives needlessly. We could develop surrender plans in great secrecy so others could steal them and implement their own plans. These people are not pessimists........ Bushes Plan - We can have our cake but will have to pay for it. Kerrys plan _We can have our cake but will only have to pay for 1/2 of it since we can raise taxes to pay for the rest. Sig
