An amazing story. And what do we do for Africa, when faced with such stories? What can be done? When you read a story like that, and then read people trying to justify billions spent getting the "evil" Saddam, you've just got to wonder what kind of priorities people in the West have.

The whole continent of Africa is full of desperation and evil- and we do next to nothing. Where is the moral indignation? Where is the desire to go forth and right the wrongs of unbelievable human rights abuses, genocide, and atrocities? I have heard from some republicans, who like to say this over and over, that it is important to put an end to inhumanity- perhaps they just haven't read about Africa yet? Yeah, that must be it.
