Didn't use the machine it was on much,

More of a toy that I cut my teeth on in 1978. An Apple][+. We used to fry these things now and then and we could pull them apart and slap 'em back together while downing a fifth of Irish.

We thought we were so lucky because we found an Electronics supply house that was practically giving away Ram at a dollar a chip.

1K Ram.

The 10 Meg Drive worked that machine and a Mac that was immediately post-Lisa.

Guess I'm being dragged into the modern world; next I might even dump my scuzzi drives......

Nah, they still have another ten years in 'em.
