Well since the Bush administration has decided Clarke is a political threat and is therefore going all out to smear and destroy his credibility, we'll never get to have these substantive discussions about his book, will we?

There's plenty of constructive blame to go around, the Bush administration refuses to accept any of it.

For example Rice claims they went to battle stations after receiving alarming terror warnings from the CIA. So we can only assume that battle stations means a month long vacation in Crawford Texas.
