Re: I personally think that the Olis sentence is too severe.

Compared to what? In Saudi Arabia, petty thieves in the souk have their hands cut off. By that standard, Olis should have his body cut off from the neck down. By the standard of justice that Leah Fastow got? Hell, that bitch got off way too easy. She's good to go for at least twice the sentence that Olis got.

I have zero sympathy for Olis. I have zero sympathy for your standing up for light sentencing of white collar criminals when I never recall you suggesting that the incarceration of 1,000,000 victimless recreational drug users are bloating ridiculous prison guard union ranks and creating the most toxic culture on the planet.

I'd like to see the bastards who cheat, steal, and lobby to gain our societies best rewards (i.e the CEOs and upper managements who cheat) should be made destitute, serve hugely long sentences and we should let every recreational drug user whose main guilt is in not be well-connected should be set free to pursue the American dream as best they can.

I'm repulsed by the injustice of our penal system and the fact that sociopaths like Dick Cheney become rich and powerful when what they really deserve is a straightjacket, a cure for mental disease and a proscription of him and similar criminally insane terrorists from ever gaining any power at all in our society.
