I don't get what you're talking about here. Maybe you mistyped something. Or maybe you think that the police detect terrorists but then let them kill people, LOL. Hey, the military ain't too good at detecting terrorists, preventing them from killing, or at killing the terrorists. The military is tits-up lousy at fighting terrorism.

The main complaint of the Iraqi people with the US military is that the US military doesn't protect them from terrorists. And the attacks in Spain indicate that Bush's anti-terror activities haven't been effective at protecting civilians outside Iraq either.
