Clarke#2 is suppose to be on Meet the Press this morning.
I'm awaiting a transcript. I can't stand to watch. Hopefully Tim Russert will ask more than softballs.

It is amazing the way the media has buried Clarke's August interview which directly contradicted the book.

The media is careful to only bring up those subjects which support their liberal agenda.

Actually Clarke supported the idea this morning that it be declassified. Further, Jamie Gorelick said also this morning that this testimony is not inconsistent with what Clarke is saying now. The only difference she noted is the emphasis or tone. Clarke made a very eloquent case this morning as to why the war in Iraq has actually weakened our fight against terror. Lastly, and for the penultimate time, Clarke pointed out that bush himself in Woodward's book, in direct quotes, admits to having poor focus on terror before 9/11.
