The President is responsible for overseeing our security. AQ was successful, he should fully acknowledge it, be focused, and admit in hindsight there was more they should have done. It is a mistake on their part to not admit to it. I do not believe Clarke's version entirely, but we have known for sometime the truth regarding this, he is simply repeating old news, politicians need to learn that honesty is an approach they should try in the future. Most of us are sick of their lies, and we can accept errors if they come out and be up front.

Clarke#1 effectively stymied Clarke#2 and his CBS book.
