re: "The reality is that there is a Richard Clarke for everyone....he supports the theory that al-Qa'eda operatives in the Philippines taught Terry Nichols how to blow up the Oklahoma Federal Building"

Indeed, in this book, Clarke says that Nichols' bombs didn't work before he went to the Philippines - and worked when he got back (and that Nichols was in the Philippines the same time and same region as Ramzi Yousef - World Trade Center Bombing). James Woolsey (CIA chief under President Clinton), also seems to share this opinion. Very interesting, given that McVeigh's letter supporting Saddam, while on death row (and the fact, that the leading proponent of this hypothesis, believes that Iraq was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing).

Instead, all the Islamists who went to Afghanistan in the 1990s graduated from Camp Osama and were dispersed throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, where they lurk to this day.

That's quite an indictment of George Bush!
