The movie is a monumental epic classic already and Gibson's role as a filmmaker has been immortalized. It will be interesting to see how the Academy Awards play out next year. I can't believe the film won't win Oscars.

His 3-5 year take will probably be closer to $500M than to $300M, much more over a 10-15 year period. His addressable global market is 2B Christians (including 1B Catholics). Only a very tiny fraction of that market has to dip into this movie's revenue stream to make this the greatest movie ever sold. The DVD box set alone could replace fruitcakes for Christmas season...........every Christmas season.<g>
