At least in the U.S., surveys have shown that is absolutely not the case. In the middle east, who knows? The Arabs want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth anyway, what might it do, make them want to kill them twice?

In any event, a movie that will means a lot to tens of millions of people should not be censored based on a theory that it will cause remorseless killers to kill even more remorselessly.

The one movie I have seen that ACTUALLY incited violence is "The Warriors," released in the late 70's if I remember correctly. You walked out of the theater wanting to kick some ass. But that movie glorified violence, as opposed to making it abhorrent, as The Passion does.
