I wish to further comment on "authentic, eyewitness accounts". An ongoing experiment involved college students watching a video of two teams of players involved in a basketball-like game. The viewers are instructed beforehand to count the number times the ball is passed between the players wearing blue uniforms. Thirty seconds into the video, a person in a gorilla suit walks through the players, pausing for a second or two.

In the questioning after the video is shown, over 50% of the viewers NEVER SEE THE GORILLA. Don't recall seeing it, and are angry and irate about it, especially after seeing the two minute video a second time. They accuse the testers of switching videos!! This experiment has been repeated many many times, with consistent results:

People can miss plenty even when they look right at it.
(this experiment written about in Scientific American an issue or two ago.)

If anyone would know this trait of "human viewing", a supreme being, the "inventor", would know this, and would NOT entrust his "Message" to such a conveyance as humans any more than a person would employ a washcloth as a "best method" to transport water to the mouth for a "drink".

Hey, you are the one that jumped into a conversation and then backed off when you could not produce, so put up or shut up.
