OK. What makes you so sure? I know cold fusion has gotten a black eye and most people still think it's bunk. But, I've followed the cold fusion field closely for years and I believe it has made siginificant progress in recent years. Reproducibility is nearing 100%. The issues with reproducibility have been understood. Even the U.S. Navy has researched cold fusion cladestinely and reported that they think the phenomenon is real and deserves further study. I think within two years, not ten, cold fusion will gain acceptance by the scientific establishment and cold fusion experiments will appear in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

You do understand how science generally works? Right now about 95% of scientists either don't follow cold fusion or think it's utter nonsense. But, once a few well respected ones try to reproduce the cold fusion effect, using some of the new experimental techniques that are much more effective and report positive results, it will sway most of the scientific community into the believer camp. That's how quickly things can change in science. Once it reaches a certain threshold and any scientist can follow a protocol and produce the cold fusion reaction, the whole view of the field will have changed dramatically. That day is not far off. Read the latest on cold fusion before you come to a uneducated conclusion based upon some of negative stereotypes cold fusion gained in the early years. Much has changed in the cold fusion field for the better and you and other doubters will learn that sooner or later.
