I thought Dell was above the pack of other computer companies. Further, their low cost structure gave them the edge to be better than the rest. Are you saying that Dell is no better than the rest of the computer companies?

John, Yes, for all it's size, dell is a low margin operation, and as such carefullt rations the funds it sends to all segments. One of the problems is the relentless push for lower prices has brought lower quality parts, = more failures = more service calls.
