Mr Zakaria is on my ignore list. I include Zakaria in a group I call the Liberal Hawks, and I've stated they all need a moral compass transplant. I don't have enough knowledge to comment on your finding "glaring factual errors" in his work. The particular article "Terrorists Don't Need States" does address a neo-con myopia. Perle was on CNN today, using the thesis that the way you fight terrorism is by going after the states that sponsor terrorists, to justify that the proper response to 9-11 was to go to war in Iraq. He further believes that's still the way to fight terrorism. Of course, he also has "complete confidence" in Chalabi. lurqer
