Ted, they did nothing. Nothing! They negelected it. They lowered priority.

But they knew, and they knew specifics (Ashcrofts flight warning in june 2001). That's the awful truth. That's why there so much stonewalling.


Yes, the more I think of Ashcroft saying to avoid commercial aircraft, the more incensed I get. There must have been enough "chatter" before 9/11 to reach that conclusion.

And Clarke knows the truth. And he knows they abused 9/11 for the Iraq agenda. Maybe Bush should contact Maitre Verges (the guy defending Saddam). If the Bush trial is after Saddams trial, he could defend both.

Bush will never get impeached for Iraq even though he deserves it. Impeachment requires the Senate to approve it and there aren't the votes because of GOP control.

The diversion of our precious resources for Iraq is a major abuse of power. I hope some day Bush pays for his mendacity and hubris but the worst that will probably happen is that he gets voted out of office.
