You may have noticed that the EPA has mandated new de-sulphurization equipment for refineries such as the one in Bakersfield. It's so small that the retrofit was deemed economically unjustified.

Since Bush and Cheney are so closely linked to the oil industry, we shouldn't be surprised
that crude and natural gas prices are rising.

Last summer, I heard that gasoline prices were going up because Bush diverted gasoline
to the strategic US reserves. Tonight, I heard on the news that Bush was still doing the
same thing. You can bet Bush, Cheney and their friends and relatives are making a
financial killing with the increase in prices.
