Yes, I wonder what happened to good old fashioned republican values, like fiscal conservatism? And loyalty to the constitution?
Have to agree with you to some extent, but, believe it or not, we are at war, and the economy is still recovering from the Clinton fiasco. The belief in the Constitution is as strong as ever considering the conservatives have to hold of the rabid left from destroying it.The one mistake President Bush made was to believe he could trust Kennedy, and the left wing spenders. Sometimes an honest man just can't believe he could be screwed by someone he trusts, but, of course, with Kennedy, et al., he should have known better. As the economy recovers, now well on it's way, the deficit, which ranks toward the bottom of the twenty largest deficits, will soon ease. Incidentally the top 5 largest deficits, ever, were under Democratic presidents. And you have to remember the left would put the country in jeopardy to regain the power of the Presidency. They have given considerable aid and comfort to the enemy. If Kerry should, by chance, win the presidency I suggest you have a place to run and hide as the collapse in our economy will make the Clinton recession look like a small loan default.
