Steve, Bush is the borrow and spend guy. You would rather have a borrow and spend President than a tax and spend guy who favors pay as you go.

If Republicans have their way and make the tax cuts permanent, our national debt will exceed $10 trillion by 2014. Annual deficits will exceed $700 Billion by 2014. The deficit will never fall below $400 Billion in any year in the next 10 years. After 2014, the boomers retire and the debt and deficit grow even faster.
