I'm not sure what you mean by a solid individual. Everyone's human which is why there's a 4 year run and then reelection. That's why there's a supposed balance and separation of powers, federalism, impeachment, removal, the supposed fourth estate (yeah, right), etc. etc.

No one is altogether that solid under all conditions. That's why it's essential to keep a watchful eye on these numnutzes from any party or affiliation.

This is one reason why I like the ruckus over O'Neill and Clarke. Whistleblowers should be paid attention to so that we'll get more of them in the future. Heck, the government itself pays hefty rewards for whistleblowers against companies defrauding the government. Why shouldn't the public do the same?

Power, even a little power, corrupts.
