I wonder how that would play in a US court: "but judge, killing that man was more convenient than any of the alternatives available to me at the time -- and frankly, I kind of enjoyed it". Judge: "Well, more convenient you say, and personally satisfying -- well then I guess we have no choice but to find you innocent of the charge of murder".
