It doesn't work that way. The mind set is that a person is worth x dollars. FICA does not come into the thought...the other benefits do.

In my experience employees are paid what they are worth based on their value (subjective based upon market conditions).

If you eliminate the employer match I don't see all of it flowing to the employee. Too many other factors and variables come into the mix.
