I get the impression you can talk with people all over the social and financial spectrum. I'm sure you will agree that while book learning is good, there are a lot of country folk with more sense than a lot of city slickers driving fancy cars.

Interesting, I also studied and play classical piano, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff are my favorites... I once studied and memorized the entire Rachmaninoff piano concerto #2, one of my absolute favorites... I love to write... and bluegrass is also my favorite popular sound... try this...

I find a certain folksy innocence and harmony in that wonderful music... bluegrass can only be enjoyed outdoors, it's like eating watermelon, because to really enjoy it, it has to get all over you... I was first introduced to bluegrass when I was at Fort Campbell, Ky., in the Army, the music was hypnotic and addictive, I would go to Nashville on the weekends and listen to the great sounds of the country artists there... although I'm in the motion picture business, which incorporates music, drama, story telling, acting, and all the other theatrical aspects put together into one single finished product, music is my first artistic love...
