I agree wholeheartedly on Regulation, however ever since Reagan there has been some improvement there, the problem is anytime the FEDERAL govt improves the States go backwards on regulation. As to taxes, frankly I think they are as low as they are ever gonna be. At this point I would push for a total revamp with either a flat tax or a VAT. I like the VAT tax as it picks up the tax LOST on illegal and under the table revenue currently being lost to the system. I understand that is a substantial number. (I have heard as high as 10% of GNP, when you realize Bush's tax cut which many hear SCREAM about is I think about 1% of GNP you can see just how big that figure is. jdn
