I saw the Kissinger interview. The point he made was that the 9/11 Commission was unique and felt Bush would benefit if Rice spoke. I agree with you that Rice and Cheney are both brilliant. They speak logically in an even tone that is totally disarming for their opponents. At this point, I am inclined to agree with Kissinger. Democrats have made such a stink about Rice testifying publicly that the audience would be enormous and I think there would be considerable gratification seeing democrats regret getting what they asked for. btw, I like Rachmaninov. * * *

The time of hiding from the anti-American domestic enemy is over. No American should be worried about left wing propaganda. This is a time when courageous Americans need to step forward and defend the republic from a movement that passionately desires our destruction. The Senate Republican caucus is folding like the cheap suits they are. But we have an administration that correctly assesses the danger of this internal enemy and the "establishment" media that promotes it with a constant barrage of propaganda. This administration needs only to speak to the people over the heads of the enemy, and the people will stand and do THEIR duty. We Americans have been waiting for this courage of leadership for 30+ years-finding only BobDole's Disease-addled compromise and surrender to the seeds of our national destruction. Josh answered your question. I will just add Rice is supposed to have an IQ far above most of us and a solid speaker. She already HAS testified privately, obviously she is going to have to try and not change any of her previous testimony as that is where the Democraps will try and trip her up, meanwhile, I presume her testimony was positive, thus now the AMERICAN PEOPLE will hear what she said and when it is compared to Clarkes hopefully it will be so obvious what he was up to (selling a book) that the Commission wont DARE to tell anything but the truth, the whole truth and NOTHING but the truth, unlike what Clarke says is Washington fodder---lies! jdn
