Now you are talking about underhand dealings in Iraq. You are going off on a tangent.

No I am not going off on a tangent. It looks like you are not keeping up with the news or deliberately ignoring what the Bush attack brigade has been saying.

The Bush machine has put out the word out there that France, Germany and Russia were secretly dealing with Saddam for his oil in spite of the Iraqi embargo. I ask if that is so then why did they not do so with Libya, where there was an embargo in effect longer than Iraq. Libya has oil too, right?

Interesting to see the situation unfolding in Libya. Notice how the mention of US is absent in European news reports on the Libyan situation. The only US mention is the use of US expertise in dealing with disposing off nuclear material. It is widely known in Europe that the Libyan agreement materialized because of Europe's initiative and not Bush's initiative. Bush is so pissed off that he was excluded, he is refusing to lift sanctions on Libya. It was the EU along with Blair that brokered Libya. And that is why you have Blair shaking hands with Gaddafi and not Bush. Europe sidelined Bush in Libya after Bush failed to produce the WMDs with his military solution. Europe on the otherhand, did it their own way and produced the nuclear material and gave it to the US to destroy them so that the US could satisfy themselves that these really are the nuclear material from Libya.

Let us give due credit to Europe for Libya. Bush has shown diddly squat for success in his war on terrorism so far. News report today indicate that yesterday's claim of having killed a top AQ person who was on FBI's wanted list is not true. That guy escaped. Wonder when Bush will really get serious about his professed war on terrorism, stop joking about not finding WMDs and actually start to show us some results.

Action in Afghanistan...correct action to go after bin Laden and Al Qaeda

Action in Iraq...not part of the war on terror. A diversion of resources that has lead to strengthening Al Qaeda.

Libya...No direct link can be shown to either the war in Iraq or Afghanistan. What can be shown is that Ghadafi's son and other intellectuals in Libya have been ready for rejoining the world community since before 9-11.

There is no one to one relation to Libya and Iraq. It's like saying we attacked Iraq and then the sun came up. See how good it is to attack Iraq?

Sorry not buying that line of crap. Bush's policies are bankrupt.
