I not a statistics major, but it seems the only bias of the respondents might be that they like PC magazine. The test required a cohort of 50 responses from customers of each manufacture. Definitely not a large group, but according to the testing center, statistically significant. I suppose the customers who purchased GTW PC's did so without any regard to any inferred bias of the magazine.

On buying a 2nd PC from Dell.....

I'm perfectly happy with my 3 year old monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and wiring that I got with my Dell OptiPlex GX115 three years ago, but I would like to upgrade my processor.

Is it possible to order only the desktop portion from Dell (at a discount since I don't need all the peripherals)?

If anyone knows, please let me know - thanks!
