Alan, Good point. The terrorist organizations were building while Clinton was using his time in office to add notches to his bed post.

Bin Laden and Co. took advantage of the slumbering Clinton administration and a demonstrated lack of any interest in answering attacks such as the African embassies and USS Cole bombings to organize and build up their abilities to strike us. The CIA and the FBI did not attribute the attack on the Cole to Al Qaeda till Bush was in office. The administration was made aware of the findings in March of 2001. Clinton was not in office when this news arrived. FACT: Significantly lesser number of terrorist attacks worldwide 30 months prior to 9/11 than 30 months after 9/11. Hint: Google for facts at the CBS website. Come on...there have been more terrorist bombings in Iraq alone since 9-11 than before. Orca
