I was in Montebello Quebec to attend a dispersal sale of Egyptian horses a few years ago where HRH Princess Alia Al Hussein Al Saleh of Jordan had dispatched her Minister of Agriculture to buy one particular horse, an Egyptian son of Nabiel. The Minister and his assistant stood outside the stall before the sale and everyone that came to look at the stallion overheard them saying how sad it was that such a fine animal was impotent!! They picked him up very cheaply that afternoon and he was promptly loaded on a van to the airport for a direct flight home.
