Anybody who does that, is going to look very bad in the eyes of the public. Clarke, by a 2:1 margin is seen as being politically motivated. It has backfired on the dems, with Bush gaining ground over Kerry at the same time.

Trying to make political hay out of these hearings will be frowned upon by the American public.

I hope they try.
