sorry I thought you were asking how much business Satyam, Infosys, Tata etc. did with the US prior to this recent upcycle. I know how many jobs we had in the US 2 years ago. BTW you are looking at the wrong numbers. There are a number of surveys on the BLS site, but the one you want is non farm payrolls (seasonally adjusted) - about the 5th box down on the "most requested" BLS stats page, this is the one that clearly shows 3 million jobs down, or more precisely 130153 (last month) vs. 132400's in early 01 timeframe. Since this month is preliminary it will probably be adjusted down which has been the norm lately. The other surveys are hardly ever cited by economists (except this recent period where people are trying to justify the numbers which look bad).
