The significant point is that, after 9/11, the Bush administration abandoned its obligation to the American people to pursue those who were responsible for the attack, in order to pursue a pre-conceived agenda that had little, if anything, with keeping the American people safe from islamic terrorism.

He shirked his responsibility as President. He did not do this because he is evil or stupid, as some argue, but because he lacks the intellectual curiousity to ever question what his assistants tell him.

Such a man cannot be trusted to serve as President.

All the rest is window dressing.
