Interesting thought, but eventually these preliminary numbers get scrubbed to eliminate any problems like that. So when you see that little (p) disappear from the number, then you know that it's good.

To me, it does feel like we're growing at a good clip. Corporate earnings are really taking off. Consumer spending has not backed off one iota since 3 years ago. So those are the two biggest components of GDP. So I'd say, that yes, the growth feels right, jobs or no jobs.

Now if you start seeing that consumers stop spending, then start to worry. A good leading indicator is Wal-Mart sales. And they are booming right now, so consumer spending continues to look good.
